Ernest is a Cork based entrepreneur with extensive experience across hospitality and Irish whiskey. He is a co-founder of Kinsale Spirit Company, a founder of Black Emerald Irish Whiskey and a co-founder of LYQD. With more than twenty years as a publican and business owner he has built a strong reputation in both the spirits sector and wider business community. Ernest previously served as President of the Cork Business Association and has sat on the board of Cork Simon Community. Known for his commercial focus, operational expertise and clear understanding of consumers, Ernest brings valuable industry insight and hands on experience to LYQD.

Ronan is a technology leader and strategist who sits at the intersection of software data engineering and product development. With a PhD in Health Informatics from Trinity College Dublin he began his career in research and healthtech before founding and scaling software companies that solved complex business and data problems. From co-founding a data and analytics consultancy to leading product and technology teams in start-ups that moved from concept to market, Ronan developed a rare mix of hands-on coding ability, technical architecture insight and team leadership. Now at LYQD, Ronan leads development of the platform, ensuring it delivers precision, scalability, transparency and trust. His experience in regulation security ISO27001 compliance and large-scale product build gives LYQD the backbone needed to match its ambition.

Emer brings over twenty years of experience across advertising, media, brand strategy and commercial leadership. She previously served as CMO at Kinsale Spirit Company where she led global marketing, built brand strategy and launched the Kinsale Cask Club. Her career spans senior roles in national media and radio advertising plus a decade running her own PR and event agency delivering major brand events for high profile clients. Emer combines strong commercial focus with deep creative and communications expertise, leading growth marketing and customer acquisition for LYQD.

Tim is a seasoned finance and operational executive with over 25 years of international experience in financial services governance, risk and large scale operations. His career spans board level roles at global firms, including BNY Mellon, Geneva Trading, Waystone and ID-Pal. At LYQD, Tim acts as an investor and advisor, helping shape strategy oversight and growth, with particular focus on credibility, trust and system integrity.

Padraig is a seasoned technology leader and operator who has built and scaled global teams in the software sector. As CEO of Zartis, he led the firm to more than 250 engineers across multiple countries supporting fintech e-commerce and other digital transformation clients. He advanced through business development and consulting roles and gained operational and strategic experience along the way. Based in Cork, Padraig remains actively involved with his local GAA club Na Piarsaigh. In his non-executive capacity, Padraig brings to LYQD a high-velocity mindset, a relentless focus on scale and a foundation of trust and systems which are essential for digital platforms.

Ronan is a chartered accountant and fractional CFO who helps founder-led and high-growth companies build strong, scalable finance structures. A member of Chartered Accountants Ireland, he has extensive experience in cash-flow forecasting, fundraising, restructuring, and financial controls. He has advised a wide range of Irish growth brands across consumer goods, technology and services, recognised for his clear and practical approach. At LYQD, Ronan oversees financial planning and governance, ensuring transparency and long-term sustainability.
